Winter Dinner

Wines of Lebanon, featuring Chateau Musar

COYA

Shop 2/567 Pacific Hwy, St Leonards NSW

Lebanon is one of the world’s oldest winemaking cultures, where ancient traditions, mountain viticulture and Mediterranean influence combine to create wines of striking character and depth. At the centre of this heritage stands Château Musar, the iconic Bekaa Valley estate whose distinctive, long‑lived reds have earned a devoted global following.

For this special dinner, hosted by Janelle Fisher, we will explore the breadth of Lebanese wine through a six‑course deluxe degustation at the hatted COYA restaurant in St Leonards (see their website here). The menu will be crafted to pair seamlessly with the wines, drawing on Middle Eastern flavours and contemporary technique.

Our red flight will showcase the full Musar lineage — Jeune, Hochar, and the celebrated Château Musar 2017 — offering members a rare opportunity to experience the stylistic progression within this remarkable estate. Additional Lebanese wines will accompany the earlier courses, providing a broader sense of the region’s diversity and modern expression.

This promises to be an evening of discovery, exceptional food, and one of the most distinctive wine cultures of the Eastern Mediterranean.
