Jonathan Mattick, previously a winemaker at Handpicked Wines based on the Mornington Peninsula has recently purchased Canobolas-Smith, the pioneering Orange region winery and vineyard.

Mattick has worked for Ten Minutes By Tractor and Yabby Lake as well as Handpicked. He is presently making his first vintage at Canobolas-Smith.

At this Meeting the Wine Maker dinner, Jonathan is going to outline his plans for the vineyard as well as showcasing his first vintage, together with other interesting local wines, including some difficult to get Pinot made by his mate Ben Mulline from the Grampians.
