This will be a very special evening to show case one of the greatest Bordeaux Vintages on record, the 2010 red Bordeaux vintage. Together with the ever popular Union Dining restaurant, we have put together a menu to match the power of this young vintage, which the pundits describe with just as much enthusiasm as the 2009's.

As James Suckling (formerly of Wine Spectator) recently commented, ‘I just reviewed all my 2010 Bordeaux barrel tasting notes, and I have to shake my head, almost in disbelief.  Bordeaux really has pulled off a back-to-back classic vintage with 2010.  I actually gave more perfect scores in 2010 than in 2009.  These perfect wines were so moving, so impressive.  They have unparalleled structure and richness, but at the same time, they have balance and harmony - even with relatively high alcohols.  The greatest are not aggressive and already give great pleasure.  They underline how great vintages of Bordeaux are always wonderful to taste, whether from barrel or bottle.’
