Originally conceived as a way to serve "odd lots" of wine in The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville's wine cellar, this event has become so popular that we dare not change it! There is no charge for members, they must simply bring a dish to share. This year we had a record turn out of 40 people with a variety of foods ranging from Cold Boiled Jumbo Mayport Shrimp to Brownie Pops! Two dishes were catered by Heirlooms Catering, Mini Crab Cakes and Thai BBQ Lamb Chops. A total of 26 red wines were pulled from The Wine & Food Society Cellar and opened along with a French Sauvignon Blanc and a California Rose. We were also honored by a visit of a special guest, Tom Black, BGA member and member of the Kansas City Branch, who was visiting Amelia Island at the time. View the official announcement.
