About the Jacksonville Branch
The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville was chartered in June, 1992 as a Branch of The International Wine & Food Society of London, England. It was awarded its permanent charter on October 14, 1995. Currently we have 43 members, and welcome inquiries about membership. Our club calendar year starts in September of each year and features 5 dinner events and 1 or 2 informal wine tasting events. Occasionally special events or classes may be added to the schedule. Members are encouraged to act in the planning of the dinners as well as the selection of wines, with the support of the Executive Committee.
In accordance with our by-laws, new members are elected to membership by a majority vote of the Board of Governors after the applicant(s) have attended at least one event. Interested adults should contact Kathy Kallaus at email@example.com for more information.
