The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville waged its' own protest of the 18th Amendment on September 11, 2010 with A Night at the Speakeasy, a.k.a. The Capital Grille.
Members and guests were invited to join our group of Gangsters and Flappers as we wined and dined with that Roaring 20's flare.
A secret password was required for admission and Roaring 20's attire was encouraged.
Members were seated at tables with well known gangsters, whose picture appeared on the front of the and info about that mobster on the back.
This is just one of the outstanding and absolutely fun events our Branch has had.
