Garden Party at Windsor - 17th July 2025

Following our highly successful dinner at Windsor Castle, we are now planning to hold sumptuous garden party with wines and food at the exclusive Cumberland Lodge, with beautiful vistas over the Windsor Great Park. In the event of it not being a wonderful summer’s evening, we will be in the Drawing Room.  Members of all IWFS Branches will be welcome to attend.

Sam's Riverside

London Branch has awarded an IWFS Excellence Award to Sam's Riverside Restaurant at Hammersmith.  This was presented after a supberb lunch served to us by Sam and his team on 25th May 2023.  We are holding another lunch there on 2nd July 2025.

Join us for an interesting tasting of wines from three vintages and well known chateaux.

Thanks to the generosity of our member Lancelot Jaundoo, we are able to bring you this great tasting of 2008, 2009, 2010 clarets from three well-known Bordeaux chateaux including the rare Roc de Cambes.

It is very hard to obtain wines from Virginia now; this tasting will include some that were bought long ago. It will also include an Oregon wine that is a rarity in Britain, from a former Maraschino cherry orchard. The Californian wines cover a number of viticultural areas and include favourites such as Frog’s Leap Zinfandel and a Ridge View Petite Sirah.
