Alsace Festival
Recommended Restaurants
You may like to consider the following for any free time that you may have in Colmar. All are small and need to be booked in advance.
Atelier du Peintre and Quai 21 (both small, excellent and innovative, but booking essential).
Also Trois Poissons, near the covered market close to Quai 21, excellent fish as its name suggests.
Not far away in Petite Venise (near Maréchal) is Bord'eau (the former JY's) and
Petite Venise (the former Brenner).
Near the Cathedral (opposite Mavic insurance) is the Petit Bidon (idiosyncratic, small, book early).
A long-established traditional brasserie is Meistermann, on the corner opposite Place Rapp.
