Covid 19

It is very important to all of us that nobody catches Covid.  Infection rates are still extremely high and the French authorities are stricter than those in the UK.  Please observe one metre social distancing at all times, and wear surgical masks on our bus. If you do have any symptoms you must self-isolate straight away.

Bus Pick-up Point

Turn left out of the Hotel, and walk up a slight gradient on the Rue du Manège to the junction with the Boulevard St Pierre. The Royer bus will stop close to the junction, on the main road..

Weather conditions

We can expect pleasantly warm weather at this time of year, but you can never be sure, and the cellars can be chilly.  You are advised to bring flexible layers to cater for all eventualities.

Dress code

During the day and for most evenings, the dress code will be smart/casual (no jeans or trainers). The dress code for gentlemen for the dinners on Thursday and Friday is lounge suits and neckties. Ladies have their choice of long or short dresses. As walking will be required on uneven ground, comfortable but sturdy, closed shoes are advisable.
