IWFS held a fabulous lunch at Bracu. Some highlights follow, written by member Zsuzsanna Tantos-Rangi.
I am delighted to report of the Auckland branch last function, which was held in 18th February 2017 at the delightful rural restaurant, Bracu.
And what a fantastic long lunch we had!
The restaurant is well known for its excellent food and service, the Suminovich estate olive grove, and the extensive wine library - where we were lucky to be invited to prior to the immaculately presented 3 course lunch, matched by selection of fine New Zealand wines, followed by lovely desserts and some exquisite French sweet wine.
Due to the notoriously unpredictable Auckland weather that week lot of members didn’t take the chance on the long ( 50 min ) drive out of the city, so we were a little shorter in numbers, 6 of us only, but made up for it in spirit.
It was almost 5 pm when we all decided to head back to the city.
All and all it was a small, intimate gathering, but we all appreciated the opportunity to get to know each other better, and we all had a fantastic time.
It was a well-priced event at a fantastic location. Highly recommend it!
