Overview

IWFS Auckland (New Zealand)

The Auckland Branch of the International Wine and Food Society was formed on 8 February 1954, some 60 years ago.

Our branch holds four or five functions a year, where members enjoy sharing food, wine and camaraderie at a wide variety of venues – including rising star restaurants as well as the longer established performers, vineyards and casual eateries.

New Zealand’s wines have developed an enviable worldwide reputation.  Our functions provide a wonderful opportunity to look closely at these in a convivial but educative format.  Of course we also enjoy a solid share of wines from the rest of the world.

Members also participate regularly in the various Regional Festivals held by the Society, as well as International Festivals.

We welcome any interested lovers of wine and food to contact us and consider joining our branch.  To contact us, please click here.
