"WINE PAIRINGS AT HOME” MASTER CLASS - IWFS TORONTO’S EDUCATIONAL EVENT ON WEDNESDAY

Please join us at the Hunt Club, for a special evening, with Wine educator and sommelier, Marcel Bregstein. This educational event will focus on how you can create your own wine pairings at home. Marcel will demonstrate how grape varietals from various regions --and their adjunct complexities-- affect the flavours of food. The format for the evening will be classroom style with Marcel presenting a Power Point and leading the tastings.Thank you for your email. Please see the change of dessert below.
We will experience the different varietals and how food reacts to them.

Chevalier Marcel Bregstein CCM/Sommelier
Marcel Bregstein was the Cellar Master and Director with the International Wine and Food Society (Toronto) for over 10 years. He studied Business at the University of Costa Rica and University of Toronto. At George Brown College F&B Management, Catering Management, Wines One and Wines Two and Club Operations. With RCI, he achieved the Service Excellence and the American Sommelier Certifications; he also completed the International Sommelier Guild Program at Humber College. Marcel is currently accepted in the Master of Wine program. Marcel achieved the Certified Club Manager designation in 2017.
Marcel has taught the Hotel Management Wine Program at George Brown College and is currently the Chair of the F&B Advisory Committee of George Brown College. He also sits on the Centennial College Cabinet and the Event Planning Advisory Committee of the College. He is presently Assistant General Manager at the Toronto Hunt Club, where he has worked for 27 years.
