February Events

February 21, 2012
Theme IWFS Australian + Albany Club
Venue Albany Club
Location 91 King E, Toronto, ON M5C 1G3, Canada
Date Feb 21, 2012
Time 6:30PM

David Dunn is from Australia, they will be flying the wines from Australia, another world class IWFS event!

David Dunn is an old time viticulturalist located in Rutherglen. His vineyard is a minuscule two acre property with the wine being made by Roland Kaval,at Warrabilla. For 26 years he was responsible for the vines at St.Leonards and All Saints and that shows in this monster ready for your table......Black red opaque bottle colour gives you a sense of foreboding as the saturation of inky black dares you to open it. Lifted nose of violet, deep tangelo fruits , liquorice as you remember it and some fine vanilla, delivering a delightful heady nose. The palate flavours are generous with smooth slightly sweet vanilla, spice, cherry. Excellent palate weight and length with Velvet tannins clinging to the background. Perfect balance. Simply a wonderful Rutherglen wine not to be missed.
