Bordeaux 2022: First Impressions Count

The first wines from the 2022 Bordeaux’s en-primeur campaign have been offered to the market with the release of Château Cheval Blanc and Château Angelus having been followed by a sheaf of other attractive wines.

So, having visited Bordeaux to taste the wines en-primeur in late April what are the 2022s like? And should we be rushing to secure allocations of these wines to fill our cellars?
