Who would have thought that swordfish could go so well with Grenache? Recently, members of The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville gathered for An Evening with Grenache and Shiraz at Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club. By pairing an old world and a new world wine of each varietal, we got to know these underappreciated grapes. Chef Mike Jablonski created an outstanding menu featuring fin, fowl and red meat which allowed us to explore the possibilities of some unusual pairings.
