2006 Bordeaux Tasting

After the magnificent 2005 vintage, 2006 was plagued with problems.  Following  a cold wet winter,  June and July saw fine weather. However August was cool and wet.  What made yields reduce by 50% was the rain in both the right and left bank that started at the end of September.  

However there were good wines made.  Pauillac produced the most consistent wines
