Asia Pacific Edo (Tokyo)

Overview

Under the leadership of President Mr Naoki Sato, a sixth branch opened in Japan on September 17 2019 – Edo.  Edo is a branch located in Tokyo.  It is named after the traditional name for Tokyo which was Edo.

Edo branch opened with 156 founding members, making it not only the largest branch in Japan, but also the largest branch in the Asia Pacific region.  Congratulations Edo Branch!  Members and guests enjoyed an outstanding opening dinner at Trattoria Creatta.

This branch is a young, dual gender branch who like to party and aim to have a great deal of fun as they enjoy a great deal of camaraderie and look forward to sharing the finer side of wine and food.  Events will be held every three months or so.  It was excellent that Dennis Tanaka, Founding President of Sister Branch Tokyo Bay, was able to be present at the opening dinner.  President of IWFS Asia Pacific, Yvonne Wallis, also flew in from Australia to attend this exciting dinner.

If you are interested in joining Edo Branch, please see the Contact Page and send an inquiry to let them know of your interest.
