Amano

IWFS Auckland's next function at ‘Amano’ is in just a couple of weeks' time (Friday, 16th June). Closing date is next Tuesday 13th, so be quick and don't miss out what promised to be a great evening at the winner in the "best new fit-out" category alongside Metro's Top 50 Restaurants of 2017. Amano also came as runner-up in key categories such as "best inner-city bistro", "best wine list" and "best chef".

We are also glad to have two special guests in the evening -- Warren & Jacqueline Mason -- hailing us all the way from the NSW Branch in Australia. We look forward to seeing our fellow Auckland Members getting together at Amano to show a warm welcome to our international visitors!

To recap, Amano is IWFS' pick for June, inspired by the theme "Trending in Auckland". It is the newest and grandest restaurant in the Hip Group family -- i.e. the same aces behind Ortolana, St Heliers Bay Bistro, Milse and so many first-class bistros in Auckland.

Situated on Tyler Street, a stone’s throw from Britomart Train Station, the restaurant delivers rustic, Italian-inspired fare and prides itself on sharing only seasonal, sustainable and local produce from New Zealand growers and farmers.

Our evening comprises a welcome champagne and breads, then 3-course dinner with matching wines for entrée & main.
