List events by year:

The Washington DC Chapter conducts ten dinner events annually. Dinner Chairpersons are selected by the President and rotate through the entire membership. Dinner events take place throughout the DC, Maryland and Virginia area at  restaurants, dining clubs and country club facilities. The food is accompanied by wines selected by the five member wine committee with more than half the wines coming from our extensive cellar facility that has been in existence since the 1950s. Some examples of recurring dinner themes include: Great Wines Dinner, Wine Education Dinner, and Seafood Feast.

Ten Penh is the host of our Spring Fling dinner. You may remember DC's favorite Asian Pacific restaurant from its original location on Pennsylvania Avenue NW downtown; chef Jeff Tunks’s reincarnation in Tysons offers the best in Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese and Korean cuisines in its own unique setting.

Please meet us in the Jade Room for passed hors d’oeuvres:

Peking Duck Bao Buns, Shrimp Toast, Cumin-Rubbed Lamb Chops, and an assortment of sushi.

We’ll be seated in the dining
room for dinner

Tempura Soft Shell Crab,

Kurobuta Pork Belly and Shiitake Mushroom Okonomiyaki,

Grilled "Korean Kalbi" Beef Tenderloin.

We’ll conclude our “dining-chair” tour of Asia with:

Rum & Blood Orange "Mai Tai" Creme Brûlée and Green Tea Mochi.

Wine to be finalized at our tasting dinner next week.
