Sixty plus members and guests enjoyed a relaxed, yet refined, Sunday afternoon filled with outstanding wines and a touch of Italian charm. This month, our tasting featured a curated selection from the Portulapi Winery in Sonma California. Portulapi embraces a "Cal-Ital" philosophy, honoring old traditions while capturing a sense of magic, sprit, and rich texture in every bottle. Known for their Barbera, we exlored this and other classic Italia varietals, thoughfully crafted by Tim Borges and his team. Each wine was selected to complement a menu of authentic Italian cuisine, from fresh antipasti to a satisfying main course, and sweet finish.
