EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Quality Meats Miami Beach has come a long way since the original was inspired by the family‑owned butcher shops found throughout New York City inspired the original Quality Meats. Our Miami Chapter was treated in Art Deco style to a sumptuous coed feast featuring a blind pairing of 2 fine Red wines side by side to make things even more exciting. We enjoyed a varied menu of enticing seafood and large cuts of beef which were cured, smoked or aged in‑house. We started our reception with N.V. Lallier Champagne Premier Cru Brut Rosé, then had 2002 Domaine William Fèvre Chablis Grand Cru Bougros with the crab cake course. We then progress to 2003 Domaine Maison Vincent Girardin Charmes-Chambertin with an amazing Everything-Crusted Ora King Salmon, Smoked Cream Cheese, and Pickled Onions and next the delicious, mature and mysterious blind side-by-side Reds with the main course the tomahawk double ribeye steak. The reds were revealed as 2001 Château Smith Haut Lafitte, side by side with 2001 Rudd Oakville Estate Proprietary Red. Dessert was served with a delish 2002 De Bortoli Noble One Botrytis Sémillon.
