For our season opener we absolutely filled The Cypress Room to capacity for this popular event in the Miami Design District. The marquee wine for this event was the 1979 Haut Brion which showed fabulously well with Chef Michael Schwartz' short rib creation with chantarelles. For dessert no one could resist the buttermilk panna cotta with figs, pine nuts, rosemary-orange syrup, and of course the Rieussec, Our old cellar received compliments from some special guests this evening for how well it has held the older wines we enjoyed, and rightly so.
