2026 IW&FS LT Board Retreat

The IW&FS Lake Tahoe Branch Board Retreat was held in our own backyard foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in Plymouth, CA. Board members stayed at the highly rated boutique property, The Rest Hotel, enjoying a memorable three-day, two-night experience. During the retreat, the group explored exceptional local wines through tastings at Andis Wines, Camino Mine Ranch, and Scott Harvey, highlighting the region’s distinctive character and craftsmanship.  

 

"Winemaker Scott Harvey explained that a little-known area west of Sacramento called Clarksburg is in the San Francisco Bay Area "Delta" region and that tidal action constantly brings in cool bay water to the warm region which makes an ideal climate for white wine grapes used for his Clarksburg Sauvignon Blanc."
