Thanks to the Kurtzers for hosting the July dinner at The Rotten Bunch Wine Bar and Kitchen, a true hidden gem. It was an evening of delicious food, good wine pairings, and jolly camaraderie.  The passed appetizer was fried risotto balls with porcini mushrooms and tomato stuffed with house-made mozzarella cheese.  Everyone raved about the nest of homemade tagliolini pasta with jumbo Maryland lump crabmeat, basil, and tomatoes.  The crowning touch was a panna cotta with fresh raspberries and blackberry sauce, sprinkled with a homemade anise biscotti crumble and paired with a fizzy Lambrusco.  Chef Arik Skot Williams did a terrific job!
