Following several successful wine dinners at Donnington Valley in past years I thought this Literary din-ner would be an interesting change. The evening includes an arrival drink, 3 course meal and coffee, wine with dinner and a copy of Rosemary Shrager’s new book due to be published on 2nd May 2011.

When not involved with her cookery school at Swinton Park, Rosemary spends her time developing new recipes, working on further television programs and providing her expertise to private clients. Her first love is teaching her skills and is a humorous and entertaining raconteur.

Michael Raffael, in Caterer & Hotel Keeper says of her, ‘If there were an honorary title, 'Mere', Rosemary Shrager would deserve it. Her cooking, balanced between modern professional and traditional bourgeois styles, is totally seductive. The technique reflects her mentor, Pierre Koffmann; her raw materials, from the Isle of Harris, have a unique sparkle; and the recipe development, clever but unfussy, is all her own’.
