The owner of TerraVina is Gerard Basset, co-founder of the Hotel du Vin group, who won the World Sommelier Award in 2010. Suffice it to say that the wine cellar is fabulous with wines to match the superb locally sourced food. David has chosen an Hispanic theme, starting with a Cava and going on to wines from Chile and Argentina. He has selected from the Winter and Spring menus to produce an interesting and varied lunch-time menu. His choices have been chef and sommelier approved!
We meet in the lounge at 12.00 noon for nibbles and the introductory glass of Cava, lunching at 12.30 pm in the Rutherford Bench room. The cost for members is £65.00, and for guests £68.00. Please let me have your reservations by Wednesday, 8th March 2017. Numbers are limited to 24 so please reply promptly.
