A regular member meeting of theMoscow(National) branch of IWFS was held in a wine bar, named Vintage onMoscow's hot summer July evening. Despite of the vacation period, 50 members of the Society and their guests came to taste the nine Spanish and Italian cheeses, and hamonWestphalia Telo accompanied with wines from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Chile, Australia and Israel. Delicacy of the evening was provided by Gourmet Club - a leading importer of gourmet products toRussia. As for wines, several members of our Society branch made the food&wine matching in advance. They presented their findings to the keen expertise among  the guests which provoked a lively discussion. To sum up, we can say that to find a harmonious pair of cheese and wine, is not so simple as it might seem at first glance. The tasting was a great success and the discussion was continued on Facebook.
