Banquet at the Boulangerie

It would be impossible not to notice the recent explosion of the French population in Hong Kong - tres interessant.  Little bistros and cafes are blossoming everywhere - c’est bon!

Our favourite addition to the ensemble is the Boulangerie in Kennedy Town – impeccable.  Boulanger Alexandre Talpaert produces simply the best croissants and baguettes in Hong Kong Kong- parfait, certainement.

Alexandre and his team prepare and bake the patisserie in bread ovens in a glass room in the ground floor shop, and serve their happy customers with coffees a l’exterieur.

On a recent lunchtime visit Alexandre told us of a new addition - a private room for 16 where he prepares dinners for special clients who have reached a certain croissant quota……..
