Over the last five years Public has become a club favourite with its tapas based menu and excellent wine list. Now in a beautiful new location, our club welcomed the fall season with an intimate dinner in the restaurant's private room.

Course I

Food: 1) Smoked salmon on potato roesti with chive sour cream. 2) Popcorn escargot stuffed with goat cheese in Romesco sauce

Wine: Champagne Collet Brut Art Deco

Course II

Food: 1) Grilled sourdough flatbread 2) Gulf shrimp in butter, persillade and herbs 3) Chicharron - confit and fried pork belly with lime pimento salt

Wine: 1) Albanta Albarino 2) Val de Vid Verdejo

Course III

Food: Slow braised beef ribs in a black plum jus served with patatas bravas and grilled vegetables

Wine: 1) Torre de Barreda Tempranillo 2) Burgo Viejo Granacha

Course IV

Food: 1) A selection of cheeses and fresh fruit 2) Basque cheesecake

Wine: 1) 20-year old Tawny Port 2) Casa Benasal Rose

The object of the Society is to bring together and serve all who believe that a right understanding of good food and wine is an essential part of personal contentment and health and that an intelligent approach to the pleasures and problems of the table offers far greater rewards than the mere satisfaction of appetite.
