An Evening in Madrid

The next virtual wine tasting in store for the Kansas City Branch occurred on March 16, 2021 when Master Sommelier Rich Zellich presented “An Evening in Madrid.”  Featuring the classic wine regions of Spain, the group sampled selections from the areas of Penedes, Montilla-Morilles, Rioja, Jumilla and Rias Baixas.  This wide ranging tasting began with a sparking wine and concluded with a cream sherry with wines varying from the traditional to the modern.  Again, featured wines were available for purchase by members at a special rate following the tasting.
