Baby We Were Beaune to Rhone!

The Kansas City Branch continued its virtual wine tasting series on February 16, 2021 with “Baby, We were Beaune to Rhone.”  This and all guided tastings were organized by fellow Branch member Dr. Lynn McIntosh.  It featured the wines of Burgundy & the Rhone Valley.  Rich Zellich of Pinnacle Imports, Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, assisted participants in exploring the differences between these two very important, yet very different, classic French wine regions.  Topics included the impact of different terroirs, grapes and wine styles and, of course, food pairings.  All featured wines were available for purchase by members at a special rate following the tasting.
