Riedel Virtual Wine Glass Tasting Seminar

For its inaugural virtual event, the Kansas City, Missouri Branch hosted a combination wine glass education and wine tasting with Riedel Crystal Regional Manager and Brand Ambassador Doug Reed on December 8, 2020.  Each registered participant received a set of four different Riedel Performance wine glasses for the tasting.  Our branch Wine Chair, John Newsam, selected the four wines, available locally, to highlight the glassware utilized in the presentation.  These included:  2018 Dog Point Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (unoaked), 2018 Moniker LaRibera Vineyard Chardonnay (oaked), 2017 Bethel Heights Estate pinot Noir and 2018 Turnbull Napa Valley Cabernet.  From the comforts of their own homes, members enjoyed learning of the history of Riedel glassware and the nuances of wine tasting in particular vessels.
