Dear Wine & Food Friends,

On Sunday evening, September 16, 2018, we will have the distinct pleasure of dining at Fratelli’s Ristorante for the first time. Fratelli’s kitchen is currently supervised by Mark Cox, who before this was the owner/chef of his namesake restaurant, Mark’s American Cuisine. The restaurant’s Executive Chef is Alejandro Rodriguez, who has been a part of Mark’s team for many years.

We will have this lovely restaurant all to ourselves for the evening. In addition, we will be able to complement their wonderful food with wine from our chapter’s cellar. It is the perfect atmosphere for our Installation Dinner.

The sparkling reception with passed hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6:30 p.m., with dinner to begin at 7:00 p.m. The dress is black tie optional with medallions. The restaurant is located at 1330 Wirt Road, in the shopping center located in the southeast corner of the intersection of Wirt and Westview.

Please do not delay in reserving your seat for this delightful evening of wine and food! The cost is $142.00 for members and $172.00 for guests.

Offers pretty flavors of kiwis, green plums and a touch of toast. Imported by Vintners Edge.” — Wine Enthusiast 90 points. ~~~~Dinner~~~~ Domaine Bois De Boursan Blanc Châteauneuf-de-Pape 2017 This white wine represents about 5% of the winery’s total production annually. The grape composition is as follows: Clairette 35% / Grenache Blanc 35% / Roussanne 15% / Bourboulenc 15%. The fermentation occurs in enamel tanks and the elevage extends for six months only before bottling. It is certified organic.
