Our second in-person event of the year was held on August 11 at Jams Legacy—an Omaha favorite—with a summer theme. A beautiful sparkling accompanied a crab croquette and Creole remoulade with our quaffing as we mingled with social distancing guidelines in place.
The rest of the meal moved through a stunning salad, incredible seared scallops and a delectable filet mignon to round out the meal. We finished the evening with a beautiful Flourless Chocolate Torte paired with an fantastic Merlot from Napa.
Our membership was glad to be back to socializing, albeit with modifications.
