Dear All,
Further to our save the date email, we are delighted to invite you to the next International Wine and Food Society event: The Spring Equinox Full Moon Dinner, at Upstairs at Kaibo on 19 March 2019.
The Society has arranged transport across the North Sound via the water taxi from Camana Bay to Kaibo and back. Please arrive in time for the boat to leave from the Camana Bay dock at 6.20pm sharp.
There will be welcome drinks on arrival at Kaibo followed by a four course dinner with wine pairings.
Timing (6:20pm to 10:00pm):
- Depart Camana Bay 6:20pm. Arrive at Kaibo in time to be seated for dinner at 7pm.
- Depart Kaibo for Camana Bay at 9:30pm to arrive at Camana Bay at 10pm.

Welcome Drinks-

1st Course-
Wisconsin blue cheese mousse with port, pickled pear and almond biscuit
Antonin Guyon Meursault-Charmes 1er Cru Les Charmes Dessus, 2011
2nd Course-
Roasted grouper with speck, crushed local pumpkin and red wine sauce
The wine pairings for the first two dishes will be finalized after a test dinner, but will be chosen to compliment the dishes.

Roast Angus tenderloin with creamed cornmeal, jerk shank croquette,
local callaloo and smoked barbecue sauce

In accordance with our continuing mandate to offer high end events to our members at excellent value, and to encourage maximum attendance at this special spring equinox event, this event is being subsidized by the Society and is available to members for CI$185 (including the transportation to and from Kaibo from Camana Bay).
Spaces are limited, so please confirm your attendance as soon as possible. If you have guests that you would like to bring (subject to there being space after the current members have responded) then please let us know and we will let you know if they can be accommodated.
