Meet & Greet for Prospective New Members

Over the past few months, we have had a flurry of activity involving people who are interested in the IWFS. As you know, after prospective new members complete an Interest Form, and before there is a Board meeting to vote on their application, they must attend an in-person event to meet members before they are eligible to join our Branch. Therein lies the problem. Because we are a state-wide club with only 5-6 in-person events each year - some restricted to members only - it is almost impossible for potential members to attend an event in a timely fashion. Some have waited a year or longer!

To meet the in-person event requirement, we will be inviting prospective new members to two upcoming events in May. John & Lynne Hehr will host the first event for prospective new members from Northwest Arkansas.   

          WHAT:  IWFS Arkansas “Meet & Greet” with Wine & Hors d’oeuvres

          WHEN: Friday, May 8, 2026; 5:30 – 8:00 pm

          WHERE: John & Lynne Hehr’s Home @ 25 Thursby Lane, Bella Vista, AR 72714

We would love to have current members in attendance to welcome guests and share their personal experiences about IWFS. We realize this may not be practical for those of you in Central Arkansas and the River Valley; however, everyone is invited. We hope our NWA members will join us!

To help us better plan for wine and food, we need to know how many there will be. If you plan to attend, please RSVP, no later than Friday, May 1. 

There will be a second opportunity later in May, when prospective new members from the River Valley will be invited to the May 30th event at Tim & Lynda Taylor's home. More information will be forthcoming.
