This year we will continue our Wine and Cheese Journey. Our journey began in October 2024, with Jessica Keahley, a former engineer turned Certified Cheese Professional (ACS CCP) and WSET 3 Wine Educator. Jessica is currently an instructor at Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food.
Our first adventure was on a beautiful fall afternoon on the screened in porch at John and Lynne Hehr’s home in Bella Vista, where Jessica took us on a tour of France: French Fromage & Vin. Pictured below.

In July 2025, on the next leg of our wine and cheese journey, we were treated to wines and cheeses from Spain in a Tour of ¡Españal! Queso y Vino. Jessica joined forces with Ali Cameron of Bloom Cheese Collective in Fayetteville, also a Certified Cheese Professional and co-owner of Bloom. The Cameron’s were kind enough to open their doors on their day off, to welcome IWFS members and guests for this private event. Pictured below.

For our third wine and cheese journey, the fare will be Italian wines, cheeses, and desserts. Jessica will join us at Bev McClendon’s home in Rudy on Saturday, September 26 where, in keeping with our Italian theme, we will dine al fresco!
