Patti & Steve are from Omaha, Nebraska. Steve is the immediate past chair of IWFS Americas. He currently serves as a member of the International Council of Management of IWFS, Ltd. Patti and Steve are active in all three branches in the Omaha area and hold multiple awards. Steve’s latest award was the André Simon Gold Medal which he received last summer. This is Society’s highest honor. 

Located inside The Burgundy Hotel, Table 28 offers modern American cuisine with a twist. Executive Chef Scott Rains delivers dynamic cuisine made from locally grown produce cooked with a decidedly Southern flair.

We will begin the evening with bubbles and bites. This is your time to walk around, mingle, get reacquainted with one another, and maybe meet someone new. This will be followed by a buffet-style meal made up of three courses of Chef Rains special hors d’oeuvres. Each course will be paired with wines selected by John Trickett and Mark Burnett.

We will start the first course with assigned seats with a twist! Look for your place card, this will be your seat for the first course. Don't get attached to where you are sitting or with whom you are sitting. For the second and third courses your seats will change. This is not our usual full-service event where we wind up spending the evening with the 2-3 people sitting near us. In keeping with IWFS’s bedrock principle of enjoying wine, food and friends, the idea behind the insanity is that we will be able to visit with more friends before the night is over!
