Sherry Martin Knott Matching Gifts Fund

The International Wine & Food Society in the Americas was pleased to accept a donation of $30,000 from Sherry Martin Knott to establish the Sherry Martin Knott Matching Gifts Fund. Sherry is a long-time Governor of the Society and was awarded the André Simon Bronze Medal in 2013. The money will be used to provide matching grants to regional culinary schools. IWFS Americas Inc. of the International Wine & Food Society was pleased to donate an additional $5,000 to increase the amount available for matching grants to $35,000. Ove Minsos, Chairman of the Scholarship Committee, was pleased to accept the donations.

The International Wine & Food Society is the world’s oldest and most renowned gastronomic society. Committed to a strong appreciation of both food and wine, the Society has over 130 branches around the world including 78 in the Americas. The International Wine & Food Society in America has been funding scholarships to highly qualified students in the fields of Oenology, Viticulture and the Culinary Arts since 1993.
