IWFS Events and Festivals are organized Internationally, Regionally and by Branches.
International Festivals are organized every several years. The most recent was held in 2009 in Capetown, South Africa. The next International Festival will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2012. Members from around the world enjoy these adventures.
Regional Festivals are organized by individual Regions, but many members from other Regions take advantage of these opportunities. Recent Festivals organized by the Board of Governors of the Americas have included Santa Barbara, CA and Portland, OR. The BGA also sponsors Mini-Festivals, including cruises and events in special location.
Branches organize local events according to their membership preferences. Most often, members from other Branches are welcome to attend when visiting. Several Branches have developed inter-branch events and strong friendships, even on international levels.
