Overview
Our Branch is one of 81 in the Americas, but not all Branches are alike. Each maintains its own traditions and character. However, universal goals of the Branches include:
- Enjoying gourmet meals and fine wines with good friends.
- Meeting chefs and winemakers to learn their secrets for wine and food
pairings.
- Educating our members as to the finer points of wines and the culinary
arts.
Membership in our Branch is by invitation only. All Branches are
autonomous in terms of membership qualifications. For details, please
contact us.

IWFS Alaska Members:
Sunday's event at Maxine's on Fireweed was excellent and the wine and food served was delicious. We highly recommend this new Anchorage restaurant! It is open for both lunch and dinner.
Please let us know if you plan to join us next month at the Sunday, April 29th home event, which is being hosted by new members Jim and Flo Rooney. Please click on the event tab above to view April's calendar with details.
The wine and cuisine for April's event will have a "Down Under" New Zealand and Australian theme. We are selecting recipes and preparing a menu which will be sent out the beginning of April. We're also open to your ideas and suggestions. As always, it's a team effort and we look to our members to volunteer, contribute and help prepare dishes for this home event so that it may be a success. Thank you and enjoy the spring season!
Best regards,
Therese
