The Ipoh Branch of the International Wine and Food Society was formed in 1997. It is one of three branches in Malaysia, the others being Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

This branch holds several functions a year, where members enjoy sharing food, wine and camaraderie at a variety of venues.

Members also participate regularly in the various Regional Festivals held by the Society within the Asia Pacific Zone, as well as International Festivals held around the world.
