Singapore 2011:
The 2011 APZ AGM and Mini Festival was held in Singapore on November 6 and 7 2011, with a Welcome Dinner on the evening of November 5. It was attended by almost 140 delegates from the Asia Pacific Zone. The Society President, John Avery MW, attended and assisted in presenting a tutored wine tasting of some excellent Pinot Noirs from around the globe. Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) 2012:
Our 2012 APZ AGM Weekend will be held in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, hosted by our Saigon Branch, from 16-18 November 2012. Keep your diaries clear for this first visit by the Zone to Vietnam, and maybe consider spending a few days afterwards in Hanoi. An outline of the events for this weekend event will be available shortly. Numbers will be limited to 80 attendees.

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) 2013 (28 June - 2 July):
The Kuala Lumpur branch is well underway in its preparations for hosting a regional festival in Kuala Lumpur in June 2013. KL is the largest of the APZ branches and has thrown a lot of resources into planning some fabulous events for this festival. It will coincide with the 2013 AGM for the Asia Pacific Zone. Festivals in Other IWFS Regions

Liverpool 2011:
In June this year the EAC hosted a wonderful regional festival in Liverpool, home of the Beatles, (June 14 to 18 2011). This was a very successful festival with a large contingent from the Asia Pacific Zone. You can see the itinerary in the brochure.

Mediterranean Cruise 2011:
In August this year, IWFS Americas hosted a cruise to the Mediterranean, departing Barcelona Sunday August 21 2011, returning to Barcelona Sunday August 28 2011. The cruise visited Monte Carlo, Monaco, Santa Margherita, Rome, Trapani, Sicily and Tunisia. Full details are available in the attached brochure. See the webpage here (member access only).

Zurich 2012:
The Zurich Branch of the EAC is hosting a weekend gathering in Zurich from June 8 - 10 2012. Applications to attend are now open. If any APZ member is interested in attending, contact apz@iwfs.org. Members can see more information here.

Vancouver 2012:
An International festival, hosted by the Americas, is planned for Vancouver from September 11 - 16 2012. Registrations opened on June 25 2011. This festival is presently fully subscribed but you are welcome to join the wait list. Members can register on the wait list by clicking on Festivals, and then Vancouver 2012.
